Its great that its raising the awareness about SUI- Sudden urinary incontinence but it doesn't really help educate mums that this DOES NOT need to happen and it doesn't have to be the NEW NORMAL just because you have had babies. SUI- is the unwanted leakage of urine and can happen when we sneeze, laugh and jump! Not much fun when you want to run after your kids and have a laugh with your girlfriends. Around 85% of this is treatable so women can make their Wishes Come True 😊 To help decrease this often embarrassing issue women need to: 🔹Address postural issues 🔹Heal Diastasis Recti if apparent 🔹Contract the core muscles correctly- Ensure you are contracting your PFM and TA muscles as you exhale... integrate don't isolate 🔹Seek the advice of a reputable Women Health Physiotherapist “I’m on week 12 of Birth2FitMum after having my son in February. I have loved the feeling of getting stronger each week!Birth2FItMum Today I added some jogging intervals into my walk for the first time. Since I had my daughter in 2012 I’ve had problems with leaking when running despite pelvic floor exercises etc. Today- no leaking at all!! Love the program and the results, thanks Lorraine 😊 Still a few KG to lose, and a bit more work on my tummy, so looking forward to starting ‘no more mummy tummy challenge’ in a couple of weeks.” Louise Genders May 2016 Join our postnatal #Birth2Fitmum program here ➡➡➡ http://www.pregnancyexercise.co.nz/products/post-pregnancy-exercise-program/ 💡 And if you have any questions please comment or DM me 😊 #fitmumsforever #leakingisnotnormal #Postbirth #mombods #newmoms #4thTrimester #newmums #postnatal #postnatalwellness #postpartumbody
