I have exciting news!!!....

I’m going to be a panelist at LeakyCon Dallas 2019!

My Ravenclaw sister and I have both had panels accepted. Together we’ll be hosting:

1. Witchistory - What is your family history in your magical life? What was your time at Hogwarts like? Are you a house divided with parents in different houses? Are you like the Weasleys and a proud house clan? Are you muggle born or mixed parentage? Are you pureblood? How is magic different in different countries and cultures? Come find out - at Witchistory, a workshop! We’ll do worksheets together, brainstorm & meet other potterheads.

2. Wand Lore - Join my Ravenclaw sister for her presentation in her magical career: wandmaking and wand lore. Why do wands choose the people they do? How are wands created? What do the different core types mean? How can wands be passed down through the ages? How long can cores be stored before going stale? Who farms wand trees or collects wild forests? Learn all this and more in Wand Lore!

3. Disability At Hogwarts - Come join our panel with a medical doctor, a spoonie with epilepsy, and two folks who struggle with different mental health issues on the daily. How can Hogwarts be accessible to those with disabilities? What does magical healing look like? What about those 142 staircases for folks with CP? How about specialty wands with those with Ehler’s? How about those Calming Draughts for anxiety Madam Pomfrey makes. Lend your voice, and lets figure out how Hogwarts shone in its inclusivity for disabilities real and hidden. Revelio spoonies! 

At all the events, I’ll make sure my blog is listed in the panel program and I’ll announce who I am so anyone who’s there PLEASE swing by and link up and be *gasp* irl friends! I’m flying in for the event but I know that’s mad expensive (I’m doing it!) if you can’t make it, I’m going to be spamming my feed with ALL the photos and inside jokes and fun times we all have there for folks to follow along with #leakycon2019 so block/follow as you will!

P.S. We are also going to be giving out badge flags. (They’re mad expensive to make but....)
