Hi! I just found you through your Zelda comics, and I was wondering, what's the story behind Leane? What inspired you to make them? What sets them apart from base-game or the usual fan Link interpretations?
There was a little fun meme going on, Linksona, when Zelda BOTW released. Essentially it was something like "what is your non-canon Link would be like" or "Link but with your personality and gameplay style". Since in game you can mix different parts of costumes and change colors, each player Link would also look unique. Also the different name could help differentiate the canon Link from yours Link, since some diehard fans could attack you with "Well, actually, Link would never do/think this!"
Whenever I play games where I can pick protag's personality, I always tend to be a sarcastic little shit, so Leane is just that, the protagonist that I would find to be funny to play as. Oh, and the name I picked is not something profound, I just wanted it to sound similar to Link xD
I keep imagining Zelda's doing all that BS that people do in BOTW and it cracks me up.
