Hear me out, they are like each other's expies...
And I don't base that just on the fact that they're both mean blondies. It's a broad type, of course, and all of those characters will be similar in some ways, but they'll still be quite different. There's something interesting here.
Camille is what Chloe would have been like if she had been raised by Audrey - and I'm not taking into account any new information, there are no new seasons of mlb, neither is Zoe (not to hate, but I don't perceive her). Camille is almost Chloe, but with a more developed vulnerable and traumatized side. If Chloe had been under the yoke of the domineering and cruel Audrey, she would have suffered more and been more unhappy and lonely.
Chloe is what Camille would have been like if she had grown up with permissiveness. Less stress, more self-confidence. She would have believed in her own arrogant words more if she didn't have a domineering figure over her.
They are similar in how they are the "miserable inside" kind of mean blondies. Not the girls who are okay with nothing, just evil, or just flirty and cheerful - they have this fragile side, their pain from loneliness, the heaviness of their own character, and real mother issues. They both strive to be better people and make friends (and I'm denying the new mlb series again). That's why it seemed appropriate to compare them like that. They literally reflect versions of themselves that they would have been if they had been raised in opposite circumstances.
If I caper a bit, they both live in Paris, have similar hairstyles, both have red-haired girl friends nearby and Chloe used to do ballet too! There's definitely something to that, one way or another, lol
