HOW TO BECOME A BETTER PHOTOGRAPHER: EPISODE 1 MILLION!
HOW TO BECOME A BETTER PHOTOGRAPHER: EPISODE 1 MILLION!
Photo by Pok Rie on Pexels.com When it comes to a course that tells you how to become a better photographer, I look at the different ideas that the writer uses. I am guilty of a basic photo course, myself, (see: https://123photogo.com/complete-photo-courses/ ). So when I see another photographer, or another company that does photo courses come out with yet another: “How to become a great…

QUESTIONS YOU SHOULD ASK A PRO PHOTOGRAPHER:
QUESTIONS YOU SHOULD ASK A PRO PHOTOGRAPHER:
Photo by Pok Rie on Pexels.com If you had a chance to chat with a pro photographer, or one who you know is a “serious” photographer, what would you ask them? Most people are intrigued to see a real photographer in action. Watch them! Learn from them! And then ask if you can have a few minutes of their time and ask them some questions. Here is a list of questions that has been put together that…

A LITTLE WISDOM…. I’ve been helping to beta test the new Wisdom app over the last two weeks or so. It’s a platform a bit like Clubhouse, because it’s social audio, and a little like a podcast, because the talks are recorded—and now are downloadable. I decided to share one of those talks, which includes conversations with three guests, as my “pep talk” podcast this week. I hope you’ll like what you hear and check out the app when it launches, because I’d LOVE to have the chance to talk to YOU! If you subscribe, it’s waiting for you in your favorite pod catcher. (If you don’t, what are you waiting for?? 😁) Check it out at the link in my bio—and stay tuned for the full launch of the Wisdom app, coming soon to iOS, and to Android shortly thereafter! posted on Instagram - https://instagr.am/p/CUskWCBlRMt/
I met a homeless man and his BFF, Star, a pit bull mix, to say I was blown away with his "out of the box thinking", would be an understatement. . You see, he used a bandana, cut it into small pieces, and used garage bag ties to secure the pieces for her paws. . I looked down at Star and noticed her paws. . I knelt down on the ground to Star's level, waited for her to accept me petting her, when she did, I was able to check the ties. . They were not too tight that would inhibit blood flow. I looked up at him and said, "this is such a great idea to use a bandana" . He simply replied in the most humble answer, "I do not like to walk on the hot pavement, I am not going to have her do that. I can't afford the stuff in pet stores so I used a bandana I had." . Be still my heart! Brilliant, kind, compassionate, thoughtful and so much more in two sentence. . I think, no, I know, I just gained an incredible learning experience from him and Star. . Be open to learning from all sources... . #learnfromothers #beopenminded ##beopen #stopthejudging #weallcanlearnfromothers #kindness #companssion #behumble🙏 #thinkoutsidethebox https://www.instagram.com/p/CUA6m10hCH2/?utm_medium=tumblr
Hello lovelies! . So, I love crafting. I enjoy making my own designs and patterns. And, even if it's frowned upon by those who sell their items, I love buying and working my way through any pattern I can get my hands on. . Doing this helps me understand the basics of how certain things should be created. It also teaches me new techniques that I co-op into my own designs. If it weren't for learning to cast on pique from a pattern I would still start my knitting with about three (3) tries to get the right amount of yarn to finger knit. Now I crochet my cast on. . Patterns have also taught me the crocheted foundation stitch. As someone who crochets too tightly and has trouble working into my chains, it has made my work much more uniform. . So, yes. I do post things made from the patterns of others. Because I love to learn from them. . Have a great day all! I'm heading to bed. . https://www.etsy.com/shop/MamaChatDesigns . . . . . #maine #mamachat #patterns #learning #learnfromothers #betterways #easy #crafting (at Bangor, Maine) https://www.instagram.com/p/CO0SUf4r5u8/?igshid=x5fnxj6l7apv
