Some Things I’ve Learned
Some things I’ve learned as a working artist:
-Always ask for what you want. Be severely honest.
-Politeness and quality hang-outs get you much further than name-dropping.
-Work comes in many forms. Try to say, ‘Yes,’ as often as possible and you’ll never have a lack of things to do or make.
-Give yourself down-time and actually honor that. Go to a show, get drunk, kiss someone cute.
