I just spent a few weeks failing to learn editing stuffs because I didn't have a project attached to it. so I've decided I'm gonna at least figure out camera shake with the fusion tab while making a lackadaisy edit.
that and the tracking nodes I need to use are being so incredibly confusing and stupid with me that I need to step away from it before I rage quit editing.
An editing Goal
no one: wait, you wanna do what?
me: I wanna be able to put text on the backgrounds of clips.
no one: ok but there are tutorials for that aren't there?
me: I LOOKED! -sigh- look, have you watched any of the brittle bones nicky music videos?
no one: yeah, the third one recently dropped, it was pretty cool.
me: ok, in those videos the lyrics sometimes appear on the walls, floor, or any like, particularly blank area right?
no one: yeah
me: and they're all angled like it's part of the original clip itself.
no one: uh huh
me: I want to be able to stick text to moving surfaces in a similar style to how the lyrics appear in the environments of the brittle bones nicky music videos.
no one: but you just barely started learning the fusion page of davinci resolve
me: yeah, I'm working on it.
I’m learning some video editing software so I can edit my videos when I start recording. I’ve learned gifs in the process!
Still learning cropping. I’m using Lightworks which is... a bit of a handful. But I think I can do it. :)
One of the final edits from the photo workshops I did with Nelli Huie.
