Today I learned IbisPaint does have a dash line brush and it changed my life (at least when it comes to drawing this sad boi tailor)
So as we know, Jel's vest in his official art has those nifty stitching details on it- which I've never added in my past fanart because it always looked like ass.
His vest looks really cool with the stitches and the chains. And this is how I usually have been rendering his vest (this is a current wip so you get a little peek at what's next!)
This is how I normally render and I'd leave it like this. But when adding those lines like so...
It elevates the art by a LOT. It looks to me like I did a lot more rendering in the second picture when all I did was add a few lines.
Next is his eyes/glasses/hair/table but again this is a WIP.
I'm just over here excited that I am still improving and learning more about digital art with every piece I create.
