Day 3 - She's a Riot - The Jungle Giants

Every major website has secluded little nooks, some of which are best left avoided (you really don't want to go on the weird parts of YouTube, they're scary...I am not joking), and others that are as fascinating as untouched snow or a trip to Disneyland are to a five year old. It was while I was surfing the wondrous part of YouTube with all the cool bands (you know, the one where you usually end up opening dozens of tabs in a quest for new music) that I stumbled upon this band from sunny Brisbane, Australia. Needless to say, they had me at about the 15 second mark with the infectious opening guitar riffs, and got me dancing and singing along after merely a couple of listens. It is hard to find a chorus as wholeheartedly explosive, upbeat and catchy as this one and if She's a Riot fails to get you in the mood to dance carelessly, then I have no idea what will because I am struggling to think of any musical alternatives that would. The Australian four-piece's other efforts merit just as much attention as today's song, and it would be a shame and a waste of a number of hidden gems if you did not give their debut album, Learn to Exist, a listen. You can stream it for free by simply liking their Facebook page and submitting your email address after you have clicked on the exclusive album stream (a process that should take you no longer than a few seconds), so you might as well.

That should be enough for now. Apologies for taking a while to post. I started writing this two nights ago and was supposed to finish it last night but I received some slightly devastating news yesterday so posting this was the least of my worries. Anyway, stay tuned because I have got plenty of sweet tunes in store and they are in the pipeline.
