Lea Santee - Blue Eyes

Une voix douce, chaude et cristalline a traversé les vallées du Tyrol, surmonté les sommets des Alpes pour arriver jusqu’à nous sous la forme d’une sublime chanson nommée “Blue Eyes”… Dans sa lente complainte, c’est avec une justesse et une simplicité incroyable que Lea Santee transforme tristesse et nostalgie en un cri du coeur magnifique, que le piano et les violons s’efforcent de porter à nos oreilles sans en altérer la pureté. La session live enregistrée ce Noël à Innsbruck, sa ville d’origine, rend un très bel hommage à l’EP sorti un peu plus tôt dans l’année. A écouter absolument.

A soft, warm and crystal-clear voice has travelled through Tyrol’s valleys, overcome the Alps summits, to finally reach us in France under the shape of a sublime track called “Blue Eyes”… In this slow complaint, it is with an extraordinary accuracy and a disconcerting simplicity that Lea Santee transforms sadness and nostalgia into a magnificent cry from the heart, that the piano and the violins strive to bring into our ears without altering its purity. The live session recorded this Christmas in Innsbruck, her hometown, pays a great homage to the EP released earlier this year. Not to be missed.
