The transformation of a Tom of Finland sketch from 1976. Tom used this sketch for a well-known finished drawing, which can't be published here for censorship reasons. I used the sketch to create an alternative finished drawing, which was then leatherized.

Here's another little known Tom of Finland sketch that I've been working on with AI. The first image shows the poor quality image that I found on the internet. AI cleaned it up (2nd image), smoothed it out (3rd image) and leatherized it.

Between the 2nd and 3rd image something vital was lost: the picture was desexualized. Note how in the original sketch the split in the tunic of the two main figures revealed something very manly. AI censored it.

Of course, AI always messes up in the end. After the first couple of images it refused to reproduce the 'balloons' that make breeches such a hyper masculine item of clothing. Very weird.
