Here’s a map I made of a place I came up with. It’s currently hanging in a display case with black, velvet backing. The map is carved onto vegetable tanned leather and I outlined it with a wood burner. I painted/accented the compass, dragon and a few misc. places with gold liquid leaf. I antiqued the edges of the map with a brown stain (the bottle didnt say what kind. Oh well). The overall map is 16.5” x 13” and fits inside a 16” x 20” display case.
I tried to get as good of pictures as I could, but I just couldnt get rid of that annoying shine....
