But. It’s interesting, to me, that their arcs start in the same way: with a romantic relationship, and a break-up for which they are made to feel responsible. It’s interesting that they both start with so much anger. They share a common core: the desperate need to be loved (romantic love, platonic love, familial love) and immense self-loathing. x
