Quick working of images and post as I leave Page, Arizona, headed for Monument Valley. Decided to skip Antelope Canyon for now, don’t like the idea of having to pay over $100 just to get photo tour access for a short time with a tripod to the slot canyon after I’ve already purchased a national parks pass. If all the money was going to the Navajo Nation then I could live with it more but it seems not, maybe another time.
Loved the petroglyphs and hear there are more along the way. Could spend a month at the Grand Canyon for sure, so awesome to see Horseshoe Bend too and amazed at how stupid people are around these spots with the sharp drop offs and loose gravel. I kept an eye on my camera and tripod the whole time as I was worried that one of the idiots who kept pushing in on me would send it over the edge. Still, worth it!!!
