It’s cold.
His clothes barely hold in any body heat, hanging off of his lithe form in a way that almost makes him look like a child. Little as he may be, he is no child - that much is for certain.
This planet he’s been abandoned on is cold and brutal. There aren’t any other life forms that Prompto can see (not that his vision radius is all that large). It’s almost like he’s been left here to die.
His surprise is almost mistaken as fear when he sees the foreign ship land on the surface of this barren world. He’s almost too hesitant to run forward and make his existence known, but he’s so hungry -- he’s hungry and thirsty and he wants to live.
His heart pounds endlessly as he crawls out of the shadows and into view of the pirate crew, holding his arms up in the universal sign of surrender.
Please, his mind screams, I don’t want to die yet...
