Sometimes old techs and items stuff could end up the lifespan, like accidentally falling to a hard surface and any worst happen on your environment.🙁
Well such a case with my Samsung Galaxy S4 [GT-I9505], which happened a week ago...😟📱
On Aug 8, 2020 at 4 AM, while I was working my topic of my ‘XP-Pen Deco 01 V2 drawing/graphic tablet’, my Galaxy S4 fully charged before I plugged out from my Anker Powerport 2 charger. I was gonna play some relaxing music by turning on a bluetooth speaker (not my Awei bluetooth speaker because it still charging at the time) with my ‘Awei AUX-001 audio cable’ connected, I was getting ready to plug in with Samsung phone. Until - the LED screen went malfunction and flashing after I already plugged with a 3 mm audio jack from my Awei audio cable, making my 2nd phone pitched black but I could touch it nonetheless and I can’t unlock my pattern lines.😟
So now here’s my video (recorded w/ my Honor 8C) to see my Galaxy S4′s LED touch problem. 😣 I try to send a private chat w/ my young bro, and he said that was ‘very old’ and already ‘overuse’, while my mom said that my phone caused by ‘grounded’. And to those words I could agree more, it is old and somehow malfunctioned after all, 2 years ago even told me from my young brother say that ‘don’t reformat the Galaxy S4, because it’ll cause problems’; I haven’t reformat yet for 4 years before he gets a new phone (as evidence from my post here → [CLICK ME!]), so yeah...🙁
Well as of today, my Galaxy S4 was temporarily dead... 😔Because there’s one chance to fix it by replacing a new LED screen to the old one in order to get my Galaxy S4 back to life and use again, but unfortunately the replacement part was expensive (even though the S4 debuted in 2013 but still,) both online and in physical store (but I can’t go outside because of pandemic status to MECQ). For now I’m put my phone to rest, removed the battery and also two electronic memorable cards; namely my ’Samsung EVO 64GB SDXC Card’ and a prepaid Sim Card.
It’s a good thing that I have my Honor 8C as my main phone (from the Honor win contest), and without my Honor 8C or any latest smartphone around I have nothing but to stick some old ones. 🙂📱
And speaking of my old ones, as for my former smartphone of ‘Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 (GT-7582)’, I think it’s fine and somehow the battery will be almost bloated. Although I’m not planning to use it though... ^^;
