A thought about them that they’d never share: Maris went home and googled a small history of comic books the night after they first met. She wanted to be able to understand whatever he was talking about, at least a little. She totally wasn’t attempting to try and impress him though. Definitely not.
First impression of them: Maris immediately thought Fred was cute, even if he was a nerd. The fact he got so easily flustered around her entertained her at her at first and now she just finds it adorable and wants nothing more than to give him a smooch every time he blushes in her presence.
Favorite thing about them: His sense of humor- Her parents always told her to find someone who could make her laugh. Maris has learned the art of laughing at client’s jokes, especially when they weren’t funny. Fred truly makes her laugh and that’s one of the main reasons she enjoys hanging out with him.
Oh. And his luxurious mane.
Least favorite thing about them: His inexperience with women. It’s not that Maris necessarily dislikes it; in fact, the redhead feels that she’s up for the challenge. She just worries that she’ll ruin him for future relationships if things go sour because she would be his first everything.
Hopes for their future relationship: Even though Maris knows that her job would complicate things between them, she still wants to pursue a romantic relationship with the comic shop owner. He fascinates her and fills her stomach with butterflies; a feeling she hasn’t felt in a very, very long time. Even if things don’t turn out the way she daydreams about, she likes Fred enough to still want to maintain a friendship with him.
