Thank you! :DC: Can they swim well’- Javert can’t swim at all.E: How are they with children?- Pretty... terrible. If we go with book canon, I imagine him being really annoyed by them, and judging them like he does with adults. But, if we go with Fix-it!fics where he survives and matures one way or another, I like to think he could try to be better (for example, raising Cosette with Valjean or Gavroche etc).W: Can they dance?- Nope. He’s awkward and feels really stupid, so he doesn’t even try.X: What’s their most petty little secret?- He began using snuff because, when he was young, he saw his superiors doing it and thought it was “cool”.Y: What is one question they’ve always wanted an answer to?- How did Valjean manage to escape him that time in Paris, when he vanished under his nose.

Sometimes I think about the trivial probability that Javert's first moment of taking snuff is because of M. Chabouillet's suggestion.
