The timer hit 00:00 with a sharp beep.

Rudo, sitting cross-legged nearby, glanced over as Riyo lifted the timer like some referee.

“Three minutes,” she explained. “Whoever taps first loses. No cheap shots.”.

Jabber rolled his shoulders once, slow and confident His eyes were half-lidded, that usual smirk already in place.

“You’re tense~” he teased.

Zanka scoffed. “I’m focused.”

"Suuuree"

"Shut up and pay attention!"

"I am!" his grin widen. "I'm just makin' sure yer focused too!"

Zanka's face flushed instantly, if there was one thing that could rile him up, is when someone makes fun of his accent. "Don't mock me!"

"I ain't mocking no one!" Jabber continued "Yer just crazy."

"Jabber I swear, if ya' mock me one more time I'm gonna strip yer—"

"Strip who!?"

“Can you two save that for your bedroom?” Riyo cut in, not bothering to look up from the timer.

“Yeah, I don’t wanna hear that,” Rudo added, visibly disgusted. “I thought you guys were wrestling, not making out.”

Zanka groaned, waving them off. He was embarrassed enough. Arguing in front of them was normal, happened every day. But wrestling? If he lost, he’d never hear the end of it.

Hell, even Jabber wouldn't let him live it down, but that was a given.

They circled the mat once, and Zanka watched as Jabber locked in on his right wrist. He remembers the last time they wrestled. Jabber's gaze had been on his left wrist, so naturally he moved said wrist away when Jabber pounced.

What he forgot was that Jabber was.. Jabber, and his one goal in life ever since they met, though he argued that it was since birth, was to fuck with Zanka anyway he can. So on that fateful day, when Zanka pulled back his left wrist, Jabber had already grabbed his right and had flipped him with ease.

"You better win this Zanka," Rudo pointed. "I'm not going to sleep tonight knowing he beat you in something simple as wresting"

"Shut it, brat."

"Ready you two?" Riyo faced the timer towards them. A bright 3:00 blinked at them, They got into position, watching each other as they did so. "Start!"

Jabber moved first. Fast.

He caught Zanka’s right wrist, pivoted, and used his weight cleanly. In seconds, Zanka was on his back with Jabber straddling his hips, pinning both wrists above his head. Clean control. Efficient.

“Damn it Zanka." Rudo groaned.

Zanka gritted his teeth, "Shut it, Rudo." He tried pushing upward, but Jabber adjusted smoothly, shifting his knees higher to keep him grounded. Every time Zanka tried to twist out, Jabber countered, like he knew exactly what his next move was. Zanka hated how strategic he could be sometimes.

“You planning to actually escape,” Jabber murmured, leaning just slightly closer, “or are ya' stretching?”

Zanka growled under his breath and bucked hard, but Jabber’s balance barely faltered.

The timer ticked down. "2:14." Riyo called.

Jabber was winning. Not officially, but Zanka couldn’t see it any other way. That dread-headed menace was on top of him, and entirely too comfortable there.

"You thought about it too hard," the Freak snickered. "I can see it in your eyes." Zanka inhaled sharply, eyes narrowing. Fine. If that wouldn’t work…

He shifted his hips suddenly, not to throw Jabber off, but to change the angle. His wrists slipped free just enough. Jabber reacted instantly, trying to re-secure them. That’s when Zanka moved, his hands shot down to Jabber’s hips, quick and precise.

He dug his fingers in.

Jabber jolted like he’d been electrocuted. The startled laugh burst out of him before he could stop it—loud enough that both Riyo and Rudo flinched. Jabber cursed out in laughter, desperately trying to pry Zanka's hands off his hips but another spike of laughter ripped through him.

Then another.

Then it got worse.

Zanka flipped their positions in the split second of weakness, rolling them over so Jabber hit the mat with a soft thud, Zanka now straddling him instead and he did not let up. His fingers traced firm, relentless patterns along Jabber’s hips and sides. It wasn't random or chaotic. It was very much targeted.

Jabber’s composure shattered once he realized.

His laughter climbed higher, louder, echoing through the room. He twisted violently beneath Zanka, trying to buck him off the same way Zanka had earlier, but his movements were disorganized now, fueled by panic instead of control. The more he struggled, the more unstable his breathing became. Laughter poured out of him in waves, louder each second.

Rudo light up in an instant “No way!”

Riyo, amused, but scoffed. "Is this not cheating Zanka?"

"How?" He asked, with a proud smile on his face. "You didn't say anything about—"

"YOUS A FU—UH—CKING CHEAT! STAHAHAP"

"—tickling..." Zanka looked down and the cackling fiend below him. Jabber shaking his head in plea while trying to find a way out of this tickly hell, made his heart flutter.

Zanka leaned forward slightly, keeping his balance steady. His voice dropped, smooth and teasing.

“Wow. Calling me a cheater now?”

"YEHES YOU STUPID—" Jabber’s laughter spiked, shoulders shaking harder when he felt Zanka’s hands on his waist.

“Say it again? I didn't catch that.” he cooed.

"YOUS A STUPID BIT-CHHH I CAHAHAHNN TAKE IT!"

"Can or can't?" The staff wielder leaned in closer.

"CAHAN! YOU JINKI FUHACK-" His laughter jumped an octave, breaking into breathless gasps between helpless bursts. His face flushed deep red, eyes squeezed shut as if that would block out the tickles. Zanka tilted his head, studying him with exaggerated thoughtfulness. Jabber was kicking the air, trying his hardest to try and buck Zanka off him, grabbing his wrist to try and stop him.

Zanka frowned. He was holding on strong.

In a strangled laugh, Jabber asked for the time, and when Riyo announced there was a little over a minute left Zanka knew he had to act fast. Jabber can definitely last another minute, especially if hes doing it to spite him. The more Zanka looked at the cackling masochist below him, the more he noticed was already starting to adjust. His laughter still loud, still uncontrollable, but in the mist if it, his sense of control was coming back. His hands, shaky as they were, kept trying to pin Zanka’s wrists, trying to control something.

"A minute left guys. " Riyo reminded.

“WAHahat—?” Jabber’s grip tightened slightly around Zanka’s wrist. His eyes cracked open, unfocused but aware. Zanka could feel it.

His strength was coming back.

Zanka frowned trying to decide where to go next. He could try and reach his back, but Jabber is going to be stubborn about it.

Thighs? Maybe, but Jabber genuinely loves his thighs tickled so he might last even longer rather than giving up.

Feet? He had his socks on, for once, and there was no way he’d have time to get there without giving Jabber an opening to flip him the second he let go.

He can feel Jabber trying to regain control, Shit..

He took a quick glance at Rudo who was glaring at him for loosing. He was going to tell him to screw off but quickly got an idea.

Not thinking twice, he took a quick deep breath and blew the fattest raspberry on Jabber's right hip while using his fingerz to dig into his left.

There was no denying that it worked. No one, absolutely no one has ever heard Jabber scream as loud as he did when Zanka pulled that stunt. It was a full-on yell, sharp and startled, ripping out of him before dissolving into something louder, higher, completely uncontrollable. His entire body jerked, grip snapping as whatever control he’d been clawing back vanished in an instant.

"ZAHANKA—!!!"

Rudo shot upright, hands clutching his own stomach as memories hit him all at once, every time Zanka had done the same thing to him. “No way, he’s weak to that??”

Zanka didn’t stop. He doubled down immediately, keeping the pressure there, not giving Jabber even a second to recover. Jabber lost it. Whatever composure he had left shattered completely, laughter crashing out of him in uneven bursts as he twisted beneath Zanka, no longer coordinated, no longer strategic. Just reacting.

Riyo laughed. "I swear if this works… about 36 seconds Zan—"

"DON'T BITE ZANKAHA!! NO BITE— NO BIHAHAHAHTE" Jabber screeched, completely falling apart. Zanka wasn't biting, but now he wanted to.

“Thought you had it?” Zanka shot back, breath steady despite the effort.

“FUHUCK—YOU—!” Jabber managed between bursts of laughter, kicking uselessly against the mat. "ZAHANKA PLEASEEE"

"Tap out then" Zanka pushed, voice low and taunting. “Do it.” Jabber shook his head violently, stubborn even now.

But it didn’t last.

Zanka leaned in just slightly and grazed his teeth along Jabber’s hip bone.

That was it.

Jabber broke. A sharp, strangled scream tore out of him before collapsing straight into helpless, slient laughter. His entire body arched off the mat, hands slamming down too late to stop anything, whatever fight he had left completely gone.

He tapped. Rapidly.

Rudo slammed one hand against the mat and pointed at Jabber's tapping hand as if Riyo didn't see it. “TAP OUT!”.

“Time!” Riyo called immediately, smacking the timer. Zanka pulled back at last, sitting up just enough to let his boyfriend breathe.

"Wow Zanka.." the redhead whistled, "6 seconds left."

"Really?" Rudo looked over to read her timer. "I thought you would've lost."

"Watch it." Zanka snapped back while gently rubbing Jabber's sides. Which should've calmed him but it only had him giggling and squirming.

Riyo smirked at tge scene. “Did I not say no cheap shots?”

"YEHAES"

Zanka raised an eyebrow. “You also didn’t say I couldn’t.”

“…Fair.”

"Noho its nahahat!" Jabber giggled, trying to push away Zanka.

"Im helping you, dipshit."

“I dohon’t wahahant it—!” Jabber rolled onto his side, still laughing weakly for a few seconds before finally managing to force himself to calm down. His face was still deep red, breathing uneven as he dragged a hand over it. “…shit,” he muttered. “I didn’t mean to tap.”

Rudo snorted at that.

“It doesn’t count if it was an accident,” Jabber added quickly, pushing himself up onto one elbow, already trying to recover some dignity. Or start something.

“It definitely counts,” Riyo said. “You tapped. Repeatedly.”

“Under duress,” Jabber argued, pointing weakly at Zanka. “That was psychological warfare.”

Zanka huffed. “You’re just mad it worked.”

Jabber shot him a look, still a little breathless, "Not mad! very happy actually— BUT it was still cheating." That familiar grin started creeping back in. One that Rudo and Riyo knew he was trying to start something. “…You’re lucky the timer saved you.”

There it was. Riyo and Rudo let out an exaggerated groan.

“Six seconds isn’t luck,” Zanka scoffed.

“It is when I was about to flip this,” Jabber shot back instantly.

"Yeah?” Zanka leaned forward slightly, unimpressed. “You couldn’t even hold your own wrists.”

“That was a temporary setback.”

Rudo groaned again.

Jabber clicked his tongue, pushing himself up the rest of the way still a little shaky, but standing now. Then he looked down at Zanka.

That grin sharpened. “…Run it back.”

Rudo threw his hands up. “NO. Absolutely not.”

Zanka didn’t even hesitate. “Anytime.”

Riyo sighed, already restarting the timer again. “You two are insufferable.”

Jabber cracked his knuckles lightly, eyes still locked on Zanka. “Same rules?” Zanka smirked in response.

Then Jabber added, “No tickles.”

Zanka’s smile widened. “We'll see.”

Guys I need lee!Jabber so badly you don't understand.

I'm stuck between the idea of him absolutely adoring being tickled and the idea of it being one of his biggest weaknesses.

Like, part of me feels like he'd find it so fun and would love laughing his ass off. But also, I love imagining Jabber to be super unfamiliar with affection and gentle touch. He still likes it, but it just freaks him out a little.

Imagine Jabber actually backing off and getting flustered just because of some gentle affection <33 kiss that man's nose and his eyes widen like he just witnessed unspeakable horrors. Wiggle your fingers at him threateningly and he'll hold his hands up defensively and back away like "C'mon, man, we can talk about this, right??"

This man can tank getting crushed by a pool of Toxic Gloop, but god forbid you poke his side.

But also I love the idea of him soaking in tickles like a drug. You threaten to tickle him and he goes "You promise?" Or you pull away and he goes "Aww, that's all?"

hellooo, you requested gachi asks, do you have any headcanons for a lee! Jabber with ler!Zanka?

Zanka is the type of ler that doesn't initiate tickle fights/tickling but he's very easy to bait into a tickle fight because of how competitive he is and Jabber is fully aware of this and likes to take advantage of it when he's in a mood. Baiting Zanka usually means tickling/bothering him first but once he's fired up, he won't stop until Jabber literally cannot breathe anymore. He eventually makes it his personal mission to find a spot that makes Jabber tap out of a tickle fight — he has yet to succeed.

Jabber won't go down easy in a tickle fight but there's a couple spots that once you start tickling him there he can't fight back properly anymore, the first being his armpits. That's Zanka's go-to spot when Jabber starts being an ass because he can't use his arms and basically just wiggles around like a bug while screeching.

Jabber, being his sadomasochistic self, will never tap out of a tickle fight. He thinks losing control like that is fun because it triggers his fight or flight response. He wants to run away so badly but he physically cannot and that sensation is intoxicating as hell. He particularly likes Zanka as a ler because he's mean and (usually) won't stop no matter what Jabber does. In fact, there was a time Jabber had passed out during one of their tickle fights and Zanka totally freaked out. Jabber ended up waking up a couple minutes later and puking his guts out before giving Zanka the most starry-eyed expression ever and going, "Let's do that again." Zanka refused and learned to stop when Jabber's laughter goes completely silent. Jabber's been trying to get him to do that again for ages.

Zanka's also the type of ler that loves teasing people and going for their worst spots to disable them. He's typically the one that gets tickled with the Cleaners so he's very smug whenever he gets the upper hand and his whole rivalry with Jabber makes him more insufferable. He likes use Jabber's own words or actions against him when he's teasing him, like, "And here I thought I was too boring to fight" or "Look who's laughing now, jackass" (In reference to their second fight).

Most of their tickle fights start out as sparring matches that are a little too violent to be sparring. Jabber annoys Zanka until he picks a fight and then acts a fool while they're fighting until Zanka realizes what he's trying to do and starts tickling him the second he finds an opening. It's very important to note that neither of them are fully aware of their own actions or how the whole routine even started but neither of them wants to change it because it's something they both enjoy in their own way (freak4freak).

Lee!Zanka addition: Much like Jabber, Zanka refuses to tap out. However, it's because he's stubborn and competitive as hell rather than because he enjoys it. Sometimes Jabber decides he wants to do the tickling because he's curious about how Zanka will react to it and how far he can take it. So whenever he gets the upper hand by paralyzing Zanka or pinning him, he'll try to find the places Zanka is most ticklish and keep tickling him until Zanka taps out, which he almost never does. The fact that Zanka is a lot more vicious during their next tickle fight out of vengeance is only a plus for him.
