DreamXD has never seen the stars before, and Prime relents to let XD go stargazing. Surprisingly, Prime joins him.

I went a little off from the suggestion but the base concept was cute, and its always really fun to write Prime.
Sorry there isn't a lot of tickling in this either. It seems I can only do miniscule amounts of tickling and quickly release a fic, or lots of tickling and the fic never sees the light of day.

Stars never interested Prime because they had seen them since they first took breath. They never really considered to someone like DreamXD, it would be such a new and awe-inspiring thing.
The End had stars, but they weren’t really stars. Prime didn’t want to really dwell on them. Just little twinkling lights in the distance of the void and nothing more. XD knew of those “stars” but he rushed to Prime, excitedly holding a book and pointing to an illustration of the night sky in the Overworld.
“Can I go see them?! Please?!”
Prime felt a parental urge sweep through their body and for the one moment they ignored about their rule of keeping XD to the End.
“Yes... I will go with you.”
It was easy enough that Prime found a secluded spot for the two and the night was so clear the stars were fully shining. The flower forest lay still under the night sky, making the air smell sweet. XD was overwhelmed, looking over all the flowers and then craning his neck up and looking at stars.
His three eyes widened with wonder and he kept trying to look up and up so much he would have fallen over if Prime hadn’t placed their hand on his back.
“Careful, DreamXD.” They motioned to the ground below. “Sit down, you can see them better there.”
It took a while for XD to find a place to sit. He tried to choose a place not so full of flowers and eventually sat between them. Prime sat down next to him.
“There is so many! And they are so...colourful!” XD gasped. His eyes flicked between each of the stars.
Prime gave a curious glance up, seeing nothing so special. It was a beautiful night, of course. Not a cloud in the sky. While mostly a dark blue, some hues of light blue and purple were streaked through the sky as well. The stars all shimmered and some shifted hues just slightly.
“Does every other Realm have these?” XD asked, not looking away from the sky.
“No. But the Farther Realm is surrounded by stars. They live in a realm high above the clouds so at night, they are in the stars.”
XD’s eyes widened further and Prime could see the want to ask to go there but he held himself back. Asking to come here was already pushing it.
“Can you make out the constellations?” Prime asked. XD turned his head to them, confused and then back up to the sky. “Clusters of stars to make up an image. Look.”
Prime pointed up, and XD followed their finger. “There is the Bow and Arrow.” They slowly pointed to each star, making a crude shape of a bow and arrow. “And there is the warrior.” They traced the shape of a stick figure, with a sword.
XD seemed so transfixed, following the shapes Prime pointed out. They smiled a little and pointed just a bit further up. “And there is the spider.”
XD was too focused following Prime’s hand, he didn’t notice Prime’s other hand swiftly rising up and quickly skittered over his ear. XD squeaked, his ear twitching and his shoulder hunched to protect it. When he turned to Prime, they just brought their other hands down and skittered over XD’s other ear.
“EH! Sneak! You sneak!” XD gathered up Prime’s hands. “Mean! My ears are off limits!”
Prime chuckled and let their hands be pulled down and held in XD’s lap. “I was just trying to show you the stars.” They lied.
“You do not need to tickle my ears to show them!” XD huffed, but he wasn’t serious about it at all. His ears flicked and a smile pulled at his lips.
“Well can you see them? Try and find some.”
XD looked back up to the stars. He was so focused, his eyes trying to connect the stars together. His nose scrunched with thought and Prime couldn’t help think how cute he was.
“Uh... I see... I see a cat.”
“A cat?” Prime looked up to the sky. He had never seen a constellation called the cat. “Where?”
“It is under the warrior. See? Like here.” XD pointed up with one of his hands, his claws pointing to a cluster of stars under the warrior constellation. XD pointed out the brightest ones. “They two are like it’s ears. Then those stars make the head. Maybe it’s a little wonky, but then it has a body and a tail.”
XD traced over the shapes above, while his lower set of hands were still holding Prime’s hands down for safety. But they were also subconsciously following the pattern of XD’s other hand. His claws lightly traced over Prime’s palm, and Prime chuckled.
It had been so long since Prime heard themselves laugh. The sound was almost alien to them, as it was to XD. His hand and finger stilled.
XD looked down to the hands still laying on his lap. “Are you ticklish?”
Prime smiled. “My hands and arms are a little.”
XD nodded slowly, and kept his hands on Prime’s palms.
It had been so long since Prime laughed, but even longer since they’d been tickled. There had been no-one close enough to them to tickle them for so long. Aeons of only vaguely remembering the feeling.
XD’s fingers were excited, but scared to move too much. He softly traced over Prime’s palm but then he paused.
“You... You do not have lines.”
Prime looked over XD’s shoulder to see the God lay down his palm beside Prime’s. XD’s were mapped with creases, but Prime’s was blank and unnaturally smooth.
“No.” Prime responded simply and leaned over XD’s head. “I wasn’t birthed, so I wasn’t made with them.”
XD bit his lips slightly and hummed. “I was not born... I have them.”
Prime hesitated before responding: “Yes.” XD was in thought again when Prime wiggled their fingers and stretched out their palm again. “Try and find more constellations.”
They weren’t sure the distraction would work. XD’s curiosity seemed too strong, but the allure of the stars was too much to ignore and he tilted his head up. His hands poised ready, claws on Prime’s palm.
“Those stars look like they’re flowing down a river.” XD softly dragged his fingers down Prime’s arm and a bit on his wrist.
Turns out Prime’s wrist was more tickly than their hand. Their shoulders shook and they laughed against XD’s hair. His fingers slowly traced back up the wrist, tracing each finger gently and Prime actually snorted.
XD forgot about finding constellations, but he was still looking up to the night sky as he gently tickled his guardian’s hands. Prime let the night last just a little longer, enjoying the feeling of laughing so freely again. It had to end, as all things did but even long after XD had grown and stopped needing Prime so frequently, they still remembered that night and would smile again.
