dude i feel ya. that’s college. and even now i’m like that. i hate the paperwork and the meetings and the anxiety they bring but i love working with the kids and seeing their progress. the writing class will bring some balance and joy back tho, yeah!
are you in a school setting? i think you mentioned you were, right?
i always wanted to work one on one with people because groups overwhelm me. i’ve never wanted to be a teacher, always just that one on one, let’s sit down and really figure this out together type. i hate paperwork too, lol, but i find i’m better at it if it’s for someone else. my own i’ll just ignore and procrastinate over, haha. the best part is seeing the progress. i’ve worked with children, youth, and parents, so it’s really interesting to see how each progress in their own way.
yeah! i can’t wait for the writing class. i really think that’s going to be my saving grace this coming semester. i’m terrible at poetry, which is one of the five parts, but i think i’ll do great with everything else. i’m excited. we’re learning about screenplays and stuff too, so that’s fun! :)
