I should be able to post this without a reason, but since people always think things are about them, I feel I need to be specific. I left a business behind several years ago. One I had built. One where my pride was giving to those who couldn’t afford it otherwise. BUT, one I had begun to loath in a town and state I had begun to despise because of the petty nature. Recently people who I still care about were hurt by a series of events in that town. While it had nothing to do with me personally, it did hurt me to the core to see it happen. Suddenly people who had formerly had nothing good to say about me because I walked away were flocking to me for advice and answers and help. To the ones I still care about, I love them and wish I could have taken away their pain and frustration.
