I wonder when being gay will be equivalent in America to being left-handed. They're both preferences that someone is born with that are different from the norm and don't affect anyone other than the individual. Being left handed has nothing to do with feelings so duh it's not as important as a persons sexuality, but to someone uninvolved in said feelings, the fact that someone is attracted to the same gender should make as much difference as it would if they used their left hand to write

I remember in grade 4, I was the only lefty in my class. I was one bamf.
