A FIGC statement confirms they will try to postpone the end of Serie A to May 31 amid the Coronavirus outbreak, but could have play-offs for the Scudetto and relegation too.
During a conference earlier today, the Lega Pro stated that it could push the end of the season to May 31st.
They might also implement a playoff type system to determine who will play in Europe next season, the Coppa Italia, and for the scudetto as well.
This is one of three scenarios the league has proposed. The other two include awarding no scudetto, or awarding it based on rankings.
As of the moment, this will only apply to Serie A for the men. No word about the women has been given to us yet.
More details will be released within the upcoming days.
