GAD Attestation: What I Learned
I recently went through the GAD attestation process for one of my personal documents, and it was a lot more detailed than I expected. I assumed it would be a simple signature check, but the department actually cross-verified every small detail — the issuing authority, the seal quality, and even the date formatting on my certificate.
The surprising part was how strict they were about old or laminated documents. Mine had a slightly faded stamp, and they asked me to submit a cleaner copy. The verification took a couple of days, but once it cleared, the rest of the process moved quickly.
If you’re planning to get GAD attestation done, just make sure your document is clean, updated, and matches your ID information perfectly. Tiny mismatches cause the biggest delays.
