Finally getting caught up and just listened to last week's episode 20 of Bridgewater. About to listen to yesterday's episode 21 next.

I just had to say, the conversation between Jeremy and the Legend Tripper is not only raising my suspiciouns about who(or what) she is more, but it's making me wonder why her fixation on Jeremy? Every time Jeremy says what he's been through, she says she's been through the same. And is trying to jog his memory or somehow trick him into wanting to be a part of the fae realm or do magic...idk.

Side note: it was so nice getting to hear Jeremy talking about his teen years. wanting to bring his dad back, getting into wicca in order to do so. Baby💙. Also, you go Vipin!! Has every right to distrust her!

Bridgewater characters: rainbow pencil portrait series 🌈🫶

In order: Jeremy Bradshaw, Vipin Khurana, Olivia Hoskins, Shelley Hoskins, Thomas Bradshaw, Anne Becker, The Legend Tripper (see further explanations after the read more!)

All of the portraits follow my headcanons, Olivia has more piercings than before as I’m following the hc of the wonderful @stillwinchester 🫶

I have discovered a new drawing method I’m particularly loving: the rainbow coloured pencil! And it has been so so so much fun trying it out I’m absolutely loving it!!

I just wanted to add that for the Legend Tripper’s crown, I got inspired by what I learnt in my translation class at uni: women in the 19th century used wear that kind of things called a “bridal crown” which were made out of orange tree flowers and buds, which was very typical to get married and I felt like it gave her a mesmerising aspect which was very much welcomed and to give her an out of time side which truly fits with her character too!

Vipin VS the Legend Tripper (aka Vipin’s daydream)

New character I’ve never drawn before!! The Legend Tripper! I saw a template and couldn’t keep it out of my mind I *had* to draw it 😭 (it’s 4am now and I don’t regret it at all kdjdkdjd) and let’s be real, it was the dream of the majority of people to fight the Legend Tripper 😭🤚(if you haven’t seen the S2 of Bridgewater go aheeeead!!)

This is the template inspiration I found which made my brain sparkle!

I’m wondering if I can talk much in details about the character design around the Legend Tripper or it’d be too spoilery, so I’ll keep it for myself but I had reasons behind her design (although I see her with different clothes but the kind of explorer kind and she might have ponytails but I wanted to keep it simple because it’s a rather quick fanart, maybe one day I’ll draw her again??? I’ll see 😭)

Also the ref I used for Vipin is a literal picture of Karan Soni (his voice actor) in Miracle Workers (I totally started to watch the show only for him) because I found it really fitting! (And also because I took an ungodly amount of screenshots just to have refs to draw Vipin but that’s another story, I usually take a bunch of refs and mix them up in my mind kdjdkdjd) (you should watch the S1 of Miracle Workers btw it’s incredibly funny)

the legend tipper lady, she has a very similar story,

wnet missing as a child, turned up un harmed, dosen't remember what happened, moved away from bridgewater, but never really moved on

so she could be the girl anne mentioned in season 1, just a child that grew up there and was unfortunate enough to go throughthe same trumatic experience

or as @shedontlovehuhself proposed she could be a fea, tring to befriend jeremy and using a emotional connect for that, for whatever reasons

jeremy is yet to realise that maybe he should ask for a name.

also was the only one who found it endaring when jeremy called himself a dork after trying to leve a message to her., that was cute
