Oh look fanart from an actual game!! I dont usually do that ever. Legend of Dark Witch is special...its so colourful and cute, I have much more fun drawing the characters from it.

Let’s call this a maintenance update.

Just a few random things I wanted to post, but don’t want to make full articles out of. First of all, I’m not going to write up Totally Rad. It’s not very Mega Man-like and it’s not very good, either. Looking ahead, I think the road map for the Mega Man Factory articles will be Cocoron, Darkwing Duck, GG Shinobi, Mega Man X, Mega Man GB, Mega Mari, Legend Of Dark Witch, Azure Striker Gunvolt, Venture Kid, and if it’s out by then, Mighty No. 9. I might slide others in there, but I want to finish this project someday.

I’ve been spending a lot of time playing Fire Emblem Fates, and I’m eager to write a lot about it and the series in general. I want to finish what I’m playing before I do that in earnest, however. One thing I will say is that I’m a little irritated by the fact that a male player character can’t marry whoever they want and still get all of the children characters. Would it have killed Nintendo to put in one more female character on each side? This shouldn’t bother me, but it does.

My 3DS housecleaning continues. I’m investing a little time into a lot of lingering downloaded games to see if they’re worth keeping on the system. Quick thoughts on each: I love Legend Of Dark Witch but gosh it takes up a lot of space. Keeping it for now. Mutant Mudds, I’m glad I finally finished you, but I don’t like you very much. I’ve played meaner games, but this one doesn’t pack in enough fun for me to get away with its demands. Deleted with no regrets, won’t be grabbing the sequel. Mighty Switch Force was fun to play through but speed-running levels isn’t worth keeping such a large file on my system. Enjoyed playing through its levels, but deleted with no regrets.

Currently checking out Dillon’s Rolling Western. It’s a cute idea and the production values are great, but I fear it’s going to wear its concept far too thin, just as Sakura Samurai did. If any of this housecleaning provides enough interesting thoughts to write something more, I’ll do so. Other than that, I’ll probably have an article about Cocoron ready next week. Thanks for reading!
