Hey, so for sleepover Saturday, I love what I've seen of Veronica Mars--the first two seasons and the recent movie. But I heard that the third season wasn't as good, and that made me hold off on watching it. Any advice? Though generally I'm in things for the long haul, I just don't want to end the show feeling disappointed
Season 3 is the weakest in my opinion, but that doesn’t mean it’s not enjoyable. It has two of my favorite episodes, and the series finale is one of them. There are a lot of people who actually started watching the show during season 3 and think that’s the best season. I don’t agree with them at all, but I guess it depends on what you expect from the show. I think that in order to fully appreciate the movie, though, season 3 is a must. You’ll understand better a lot of things, and it still has very good moments and arcs. It’s not as strong as the other two, and it has a lot of questionable moments, but it’s still VM and that means it still is great TV. There’s no way for you to end the show feeling disappointed because WE GOT THE MOVIE! Also, have you seen Playing it Again Dick? And have you read the books?
EDIT: I couldn’t really explain what’s wrong with season 3 without spoiling you. What kind of things would make you feel disappointed?
sleepover saturday!
