how many voiceclaims can one muse have?

as many as you see fit!! just keep in mind that you may be sharing a voiceclaim or two with other legion muses. the key to making this work is open and calm communication to ensure there is no overlap between releases and/or discographies. ♡

I have a muse that I have been working on for EMPIRE and I want him to be in a boy group under Legion in the future (since the available spots/groups don't suit my preference), but would it be possible? Should I just make him a soloist under Legion? :/

yes!! that is very possible. in fact, there is a muse now, hara juku, whom is signed to empire and set to join our girl group lady in march of next year. the legal technicalities that come along with it are, of course, a contract switch. but since legion and empire have the same ceos, this is a very simple process!! 

the choice is yours, but it is possible for your muse to switch labels later on, and to join a future group.

how do voice claims work?

a “voice claim” is a loose term to refer to a real-life idol or artist that your muse’s sound is based on. 

for example, if someone were to have a muse with a g-dragon faceclaim, and they use g-dragon as that muse’s voice claim as well, they may reference and use a lot of g-dragon’s material for their muse’s discography and releases. 

voice claims do not have to match your faceclaim, either, and you can have as many as you see fit. it is advised, however, to keep them all in a similar range of sound and style to capture the utmost realism.

would legion give the same treatment to those under empire inc as well? i mean a flat/dorm and transportation and facilities "regular" idols have or would those be independent as well?

artists under empire are thought of as more “underground”, meaning that they often would reject company-provided housing and facilities in favor of a more private life. however, the company still offers them equally to all of their artists, regardless of label. it is simply up to them what they will choose!!

do trainees live in dorms?

typically, yes they do, especially if they are already set to debut in a group! there are some special cases where trainees may live with their parents or family (like BIGBANG’s T.O.P lived with his mother as a trainee, for a period of time), but it’s very rare that they live independently. 

some groups even live in dorms after debut (such as SEVENTEEN), and some even choose to remain together once their rookie period has come to an end (like BTS). it mostly depends on circumstance, but living in dorms, especially for trainees, is very realistic and common, despite it not being the only option.

If you wanna apply to a staff member, which submit do we send in?

you would send in the app titled “non-idol application”!! 

where it asks for “main label or sub-label”, you could just state which label they work under, and under “year they were signed”, you would state the year they started working with the company. your “concept” can just be a description of their job and their personal feelings toward said job, how good they are at it and their daily activities working under the company, etc.

what are things that trainee can do aside from being inside and outside of their dorms? i'm considering making a trainee muse, but i want him/her to do more than just train and when do you think my muse would be able to debut if he/she were to enter a group? sorry for asking so many questions!

Never apologize for asking questions!! We’re here to gladly answer all of them. ♡

The reality of being a trainee can actually be a lot less humdrum than what people might think! Just because they might not be in the public eye as much as artists who’ve debuted doesn’t mean they don’t do anything!! I’ve come up with a brief list of possible activities for your trainee to be involved in: 

modeling/acting: while it’s not especially common, some trainees (especially if they are signed to popular companies, as Legion is considered in the universe in which it exists) have acting and/or modeling careers prior to their debut as a musician. Some real life examples would be former-2ne1′s Dara and f(x)’s Krystal. Many of them even appear in labelmates’ music videos, which is another possibility! 

variety/survival shows: some trainees appear on television prior to debut as well. Legion even has its own survival show called COLISEUM, where trainees compete against one another to earn a position in the company’s next group to debut! All members of Pa5tel competed on this show, and while its first season is technically over, if we were to acquire enough trainee muses, we could make an event out of another season and create a new group! 

collaborations: while they may not have debuted yet, some trainees also do collaborations with labelmates. For example, BLACKPINK’s Rose and Jennie have both done well-known collaborations with their fellow YG artist, G-Dragon. This is a somewhat common occurrence and is very much a possibility for your trainee muse! 

backup dancing/vocals: whether for music videos or live performances, your trainee could steal the show as a backup dancer, if they are an able dancer. They may also provide backing vocals for labelmates’ songs! 

producing/composing: depending on the experience of your trainee, they may be able to assist in producing music, or even do something of an “apprenticeship” with Legion’s producers to learn how! We have quite a variety of producer muses already that could assist with this type of plot. 

soundcloud/“unofficial” releases: while they haven’t debuted and technically can’t produce albums, singles or mini-albums yet, your trainee could very well make mixtapes or soundcloud releases with the help of the production/composition team! 

I hope this list was helpful!! Obviously, I can’t cover every possibility, but these are the most popular and plot-oriented ideas I could offer.

As for when your muse could debut when joining a group, it depends on how long they’ve been training. Training periods differ from idol to idol but if you introduce your muse as someone who’s just been signed as a trainee, it would only be realistic for them to remain so for two years at the very least. If you would like your muse to be eligible to join a group as a new member, we would suggest as part of their background, they’ve been in training for a while.
