They call me honey, so I paint my lips red. They call me sweetheart, and invite me into bed. They call me princess, like that's my "guilty" dream. But I am a goddess, and a terror. Call me queen. #leilahali

Dancing in the rain, our smiles glinting in the lamplight, skin slick with mist– I have not known true happiness until this moment.

I am crafted from moonlight, and the swaths of darkness between the stars The mass of my oppressive heart slams against my too small ribcage, aching with every beat I was forged with enormity–other to the core Other Why should I make myself smaller when I am meant to raze the world to the ground?

I find most nights your name is on the very tip of my tongue stumbling dangerously over the edge of my thoughts as the burning of liquor loosens my lips, and liberates my sighs— a revolutionary suppressing the monster of battles long past. So I run and hide. Drink and distract myself in full bars and smoky clubs, with the overwhelming observation of shifting eyes and probing hands. The desperate tinge of pink light that drowns out the tangibility of reality by erasing lines and rewriting scrupulous moral is my companion in arms. One I’m now nauseatingly familiar with. And the rabbit-like beat of my heart as memories of you flit through my mind like the flashing snapshots of a crime scene serves as a reminder to quicken, hasten my actions. Tip my glass back faster, scratch my nails down the back of a faceless man with a listless taste, and fight. Fight the overwhelming nostalgia of your scent that threatens the tenuous hold I’ve enacted– the armature I spent months building. A glass casing, gingerly glued back together, the cracks still visible and forever there. Time, they say. Time will heal. And yet, time has been my enemy, worsening my condition. A narcotic that is losing their potency. And I hope, I pray, that the dreams and nightmares that plague my sleep don’t envelope me like unstoppable tide, and I remember to quicken, hasten my actions, and run.
Leilah Ali, run and hide

What about Wonder Woman and Batman?
again it’s kinda the same, for like 90% relationships in comics I’m p neutral to, as long as the relationship is well written and not completely ooc for either person I’m down, that being said I always kinda feel a little bit weird seeing bruce in a relationship for some reason
