Did Penkawr kill his mom?

He didn't. But it doesn't mean it was out of the goodness of his heart.

BUT he definitely punched Leontyne in the face.

How did Penkawr end up a smuggler? Did he get tattooed while he was a slave or did you just adjust his design?

Yes, he got tattooed while he was a slave. His sassy attitude eventually led to his master tattooing him so he wouldn't forget his place; to remind him he was just a thing for them to customize as they see fit (and also to torture him of course).

Long story short: Lana helped a lot. After they met for the first time on Dromund Kaas, they eventually met again from time to time and Lana found a way to help with his escape... and Penkawr ended up on a Peace Brigade ship where he met Corso. He then felt that he was sick of politics and he wanted to become a smuggler because it was, I quote: "funnier and a better way to stay rich until SOMEONE DECIDED TO STOLE MY SPACESHIP".

Someone please save Corso from this terrible Twi'lek of a boss!

Penkawr was enslaved!? is there a story?

Oh yes, there is a story. When Penkawr was a Republic Senator he had a lot of enemies, including his own mother, Leontyne Saresh. They never really had a relationship to begin with, to be honest. Leontyne left him to his dad when he was a baby, and Penkawr made sure to be a pain for his mother when he started in politics. She eventually decided to betray him and made sure he was captured by the Empire so he would definitely shut up. Penkawr, however, being even more ruthless than his mother, gave them quite a show before being captured.

The Empire kept him alive, hoping he would be a good pressure point for the Supreme Chancellor but of course she wouldn't care so Penkawr eventually became a Sith Lord's slave.

Anyway, May the 4th be with you!

Which OC of mine...

F: is my favorite.

Zakharen. He was the first SWTOR OC I created and he's still my fav to this day.

O: has the most OCs of their own.

Penkawr has this tendency of talking to himself when he needs to elaborate a plan... and sometimes he creates people to talk to.

R: feels the most detached from reality.

Myskhea is by far the most detached one. She would often daydream when listening to the jedi masters at the academy.

C: is the most open to cuddling.

Zakh, obviously. He's a big soft kitty.

E: is the most emotive.

Still Khreyn. Even if he doesn't want to admit it.

My character design for my Smuggler Gunslinger from SWTOR: Senator Penkawr Lek’taha-Saresh.

Despite being a senator (well, ex-senator officially), he knows too well how to handle blasters. An expert in the “Dirty Fighting” discipline, he was a pain in the ass for the assassins who tried so many times to end his political career, using taunts and everything around him to distract his enemies and survive. 

His alignment is Chaotic Neutral and he’s romancing Lana Beniko.
