I keep thinking about Dragon Age 4 and how when it finally comes out, we will be at a time where the DA fandom can exist in an entirely new space than it did before at the time of a new game.

Now I’m not saying that I will 100% join a server and sit with popcorn just to witness the absolute trashfire that I know 100000% it will be. Like... it was and sometimes still is a mess on tumblr but in an enclosed space? Think of the drama? The ‘this character is [inster x]-coded’ debates that in the end give bioware too much credit and never quite align exactly? The sheer amount of hatred that the lesbian character will get?

Tumblr is fun because you’ll see someone counter someone else’s opinion by highlighting that these are their opinions but then say these opinions are 100% wrong. 

This is despite the fact that they themselves are giving an opinion that people will either agree or disagree with. There is no way shape or form that your damn opinion on a video game is right or wrong cause guess what, you both have opinions. Just cause you don’t agree, doesn’t make your opinion magically right.

Please... it’s like some weird ass game of pretending you’re better than someone else just cause you liked or did not like a video game. Chill out. Your opinions aren’t more valid than anyone elses.

God remember when this site used to be good? I mean it’s always had the ability to be an absolute trash fire, but at least it was a good place to find art and support people’s creative endeavors.
