Okayy so i'm writing this for the second time now bc tumblr didn't want to upload it the first time around- but here is a small recap of yesterday

I'm not gonna write about my way to Willingen, that was a journee that i'd like to forget. (Though my way back is much easier so i'm home soon) But i did arrive sometime in the evening and the guy at the reception was very nice, gave me an emergency number and all, so that i'd be safe.

I went to the Hill basically as soon as possible and was there like half an hour before it opened and it was still very full. But I eventually i got into the area of the hill, and tried to find a good spot. I was in Block D as far left as possible, basically a few meters away from the leaders box. I'd recommend standing a bit more to the right, or even on the right side of the tv boxes. Most jumpers started giving out autographs like 3m next to me.

The men's qualification was pretty underwhelming. Most jumpers didn't interact much with the fans yet, since they probably had other stuff to do

The women's comp was so nice though. Everyone was so happy (team japan my beloved) and all of them spent so much time with the fans, especially after they were done with interviews after the second round. I think Katha didn't even do an interview, instead she was going to like everyone to take photos and what not. She even climed up a bench in the waiting area to give the people on the platform autographs, it was adorable

I had to change my spot for the men's comp because I needed to eat and had no one to save me my place (the women next to me were so rude (i'm writing this part the third time now, tumblr doesn't want me to write a well thought out paragraph, so it'll be quite choppy from here on, sorryyy)

Sevi literally sprinted everytime to get to the commentary cabin and back to the interview area, that was a little funny actually.

Luca was so happy to be there, he went up and down the spectator's line at least three times to talk with everyone. He stopped a little longer to talk to a women next to me (a different one, none of the rude ones) and i think she told him where they were waiting for him? I'm guessing that was his mother but they followed up on that conversation with something in Swibian and I definitely didn't understand any of that lol.

Domen also had one of team Slovenia's assistants bring him a can of redbull. Like she didn't even carry anything else, just the can but was walking so fast.

The commentators at the hill had quite a problem finding Stephan, they only got to talk to him at the prize ceremony and Stephan said something along the lines of "we should celebrate more because then Andi will do better" I wish I could tell you the context, but that was about everything I understood. My brain was screaming Lellinger too loudly.

The regional news guys took a selfie with the jesus Hille cutout, i found that hilarious.

Team Japan seemed to have forgotten their flag for the victory presentation. They apparently got a replacement from the audience and the flag had a lot of autographs on it, that was so cute.

Hille's stuff literally says Hille on it, not Philipp. That kinda surprised me, but I also don't have a nickname like that

I think that was about it, again I'm writing this for the third time now and I'm so tired, I'll sleep now lol
