Why and for what purpose did Lemania make a unique movement (never to be used again) for the #Swedish #military is still a mystery. It is a beautiful gloss and gilt dial and a unique hack feature.
The Lemania caliber 2225 movement, derived from the Lemania caliber 2220 single pusher chronograph. The caliber 2225 has a unique hacking mechanism added specifically for Swedish military requirements. When the pusher is pressed, the sweep second hand is reset instantly to 12, the crown pops out to the time setting position, and the watch hacks.
There are 2 versions of the TG 195 caseback; the earlier versions have 3 small crowns and the later models have 3 large crowns.
No one is quite sure what the “TG” stand for... but the are examples of it on the dial as (1) nothing, (2) TG, (3) Tg, and (4) tg.
