I used to wear craft store hearts over my nose where bindis typically are and cus of stuff like this, I felt like I was disrespecting a culture.. It’s a shame that I stopped wearing them cus they make me feel so pretty u feel me
I didn't know the nose was a popular location either.
I mean as long as they aren't actual bindis and they don't look like them you should be fine. as far as my knowledge goes bindis are made differently than craft store gems in little designs that hold meaning depending on each color and style so wearing regular gems, like crafting basic round gems, should be fine as long as they don't resemble a specific design or color pattern that has deep cultural meaning.
