Losing my friend and many others in battle when I was in the Fleet... and losing someone else who... entrusted me to protect them...

I have kept to myself for so long only because I don't want to develop any sort of relationship... and then what if something happens to them? They're in danger and I can't save them? Linith: "It was weird. Obviously Hurbii is a sea dweller and a certain point I was a slave to her but eventually it turned out more than that. At that point, I was finding ways to cope with my problems. I don't know what changed but... she fell in love with me and the same with I. It's crazy! I love her to death. Not considered a slave anymore! Am considered something eeeeeeelse buuuuuut I'm gonna leave that for others imagination~!

Merlee: “Rowyna’s and I relationship wasn’t perfect. We had our fights in the beginning but... I don’t know. Being a spirit along side her... I developed feelings for her. Lemoru: “I’m... a bit of a mess. At least emotionally and uh... yeah. I can admit to that. Arveli... something about her is... comforting. My day can be crappy. All doom and gloom. But once she steps into the room, she radiates this... kind of energy that seems to just... make everything better or just makes you forget all the worries and problems running through your mind. She’s a sweetie. And tends to remind me to take care of myself because I sure as hell can’t do that myself apparently. That’s okay... slowly... her being by my side, it’s helping me trying to better myself. I owe her so much... so much to get me to this point and... I know I keep screwing it up. Overworking, not sleeping, barely eating, and just... beating myself up over the past. But I’m learning... and she’s been great help getting me to where I need to be. I love her. Arveli is a kind woman... also has the same problem of getting some sleep as well and other similar things... but maybe that’s fate. Maybe we were meant for each other.”

Lemoru, tell me about your first case

"I guess... I could. It wasn't much. Mainly doing my job.

When I first started my detective agency, and offering my assistance to the law enforcement... started out small. Occasional cases of internal affairs or just helping out in general of whatever situation was going on.

It didn't matter to me what it was. I wanted to help. I wanted to just... I wanted to feel like that I can do something, make a difference rather than being ordered and unable to prevent...

... Anyway... there was one case. It was ongoing for quite a while. It was still in my beginnings of getting my name out there. Though mostly just to let others know I can help. I do not care of them making a celebrity out of me and not my intention.

There was a case of mysterious disappearances and I thought that possibly the police would solve that issue. A stranger came up to me and told me of a friend that they were expecting to meet but never showed up. Tried calling them. Nothing. Even went to their hive to check up on them and no one was home. They were worried and, obviously, I told them if they sought after the police to help them and so far they have done nothing. Part of why they went to me knowing that I will set out my way to help find their friend.

And I did. I do not remember how many days or weeks I spent on that case. I set out to find anything in particular that could clue me in. Eventually, I did end up at a place in the middle of the woods. I asked around town about the disappearances and it became obvious to me that someone hiding within the city would be simple. Many buildings to hide in but the presence of the Fleet would risk it. Then talks of an abandoned building in the woods started popping up. Calling it the "haunted mansion."

That's when it clicked that if someone to were kidnap people, they would need to drag them as far away as possible as to not be found ever again. On location, I ventured inside. Though the building was falling apart, must've burned down at one point but it did have an underground route. I stayed quiet and then I heard them.

Many trolls trapped inside makeshift cages. All of them starving and scared. I got them all free, ensuring to them that I was there to save them and that's when the people came. At that moment, I called for back-up on the radio quietly, hoping I'd get some help if I manage to restrain the perpetrators. I had to ask for the captives to get back in there cages, play it off that I wasn't there as I hid within the shadows to make my move.

The plan was set, one of them came down to check on their victims and I went behind him, had him in an arm lock to knock him out. I slowly got up the stairs to sneak up on the other. Turns out to be a three man job. I grabbed a nearby brick, ran and hit one in the head, knocking him out which left one guy who was armed.

I acted fast, tackling him which caused him to miss his shot. The guy was a bit careless and basically wasted his shots through the thrashing he and I went through, just avoiding him aiming his gun at me but at last, the police came in, showing up which caused the culprit to halt his assault on me. The police had him surrounded, asking him to drop his weapon but before I knew it, he manages to get a shot off on me, hitting me in the chest and it was enough for one of the police officers to open fire, firing on their arm which made them drop to the ground.

Now... I have been shot before during my time with Fleet. Though I guess I forgotten all about that feeling and I didn't tough it long enough that I passed out from the blood loss.

I did wake up a day later and the stranger came to visit me, along with their friend, thanking me. I was also assured that the other people captured were also all set free which... lifted a weight off my back knowing that I... I did something great. That I helped when no else would.

That day... I never forget that day. I felt happy all throughout that day and once I was well enough to get out of the hospital. Even with the slight pain on my chest from the gun shot, which thankfully missed some vital parts of me, that not even that pain stopped me from feeling... some sort of happiness...

It was... it was great day."

Lemoru, any interesting cases right now? Aside from the big ones?

"As of now... no. At least the occasional disturbance the police often calls me to assist. Mostly dealing with a man named Axxiom Donovk.

One of the few cases that I am... still investigating. Though at the same time I do not know if it's worth it considering the reports I have to write down dealing with him. And... the guy is a bit of a smartass.

Literally the last time I met him, he was outside, police speaking with others and he is just there... bruised up to hell, clothes slightly torn. Guy gets himself into too much trouble and is part of the reason why I still have eyes on him. Every time I hear the words 'Hey, goatee man is up to no good' I just dread it.

Still... for him to be the 'unluckiest' guy I have ever met, there has to be a reason.

Other than that... nothing as of now other than the two cases that are still ongoing. I have some hunches for one of them but... I'm afraid of being right."
