That is indeed a good question!|| Magic has been around since the dawn of Alternia|| Lots of its teaching were written down, drawn, or what have you but many of it are hard to find nowadays||

Obviously the best way is books, tomes, scrolls, anything written with very great instructions|| Again, these are few and far between since lots of these materials are gone or are hsrd to find|| You'd be lucky to find a book of incantations in your local library||

I'd say sesrch, but carefully, around old ruins|| Bound to find some old books that could be magic related|| If it's in a language that is not Alternian, then you struck gold!|| Or... possibly hexed yourself... which is not ideal...|| The worse it could be is summoning a demon or an ancient abyssal deity||

Do keep in mind that when practicing magic is to have a clear mind|| Some magic takes a toll on your body both physically and mentally|| I have read stories of some magic scarring them or others due to themselves being unstable|| So... please look after yourself when practicing with magic!||

For your most active muse! What are they feelings toward the hemospectrum? What's one thing they would change about society and one thing that they think actually works to their favor? What's their biggest fear in regard to the empire? How does this manifest?

I honestly feel much against it|| Even after everything I have gone through that it's apparent that many high bloods will use this system to gain some sort of power over those that are lower in the caste|| Quite bullshit, as they say||

One thing I would want to change... just... changing our ways|| As a society|| We are known to be... violent|| Some of us choose to not be|| We choose to be peaceful, to show that us, as a species, can be welcoming to one another|| To help each other when the time arises|| Learning from one another and just everything in between|| And, personally for me, I hope one day I can help shape that|| I want to one day teach magic|| Something my ancestor was known for and I want to continue that|| Magic is...ancient... can only be found through learning from old books or scrolls that are hard to come by|| Even more so frustrating that it gets mistaken with psionics nowadays|| I want to bring magic back because there's good that can come of it|| Future healers|| Possibly creating more jobs with the unique spells that exist that could benefit society!|| I want to make my ancestor proud|| Continuing on what she loved before becoming The Exiled||

As for the empire... I do have lots of concerns|| And many does go back to me wanting to teach magic|| I feel as though the empire are afraid of the unknown unless THEY are the ones in control of it|| I am sure there's lots that they keep secret that are most like l erased from history due to it being dangerous to the Fleet at one point in time|| I see no different that magic would be deemed dangerous because they do not understand it|| But if they were to ban magic and use it for their own gain... I will be disappointed... and sad|| Though I won't hesitate to fight back if they ever do such a thing|| No way in hell will I let that be taken away from me||

Linith: "It was weird. Obviously Hurbii is a sea dweller and a certain point I was a slave to her but eventually it turned out more than that. Lemoru: “I’m... a bit of a mess. At least emotionally and uh... yeah. I can admit to that. Arveli... something about her is... comforting. My day can be crappy. All doom and gloom. But once she steps into the room, she radiates this... kind of energy that seems to just... make everything better or just makes you forget all the worries and problems running through your mind. She’s a sweetie. And tends to remind me to take care of myself because I sure as hell can’t do that myself apparently. That’s okay... slowly... her being by my side, it’s helping me trying to better myself. I owe her so much... so much to get me to this point and... I know I keep screwing it up. Overworking, not sleeping, barely eating, and just... beating myself up over the past. But I’m learning... and she’s been great help getting me to where I need to be. I love her. 🍄 - Have you ever charmed or cursed an object?

MERLEE: I do not think I have ever done such a thing|| I don’t think I have a reason to curse or charm an object|| I dabble in both the dark arts and normal magic but I have no intentions for doing either of those things|| Perhaps some day?|| I’ll just have to find a reason to do so!||

CYLION: ⧋ I have cursed several objects. From simple ancient wood to a plain, old doll. I don’t fuck around with anyone wanting to trespass my area or steal any of my things ⧋

🏆 - Is there something you can do that no one else can?

MERLEE: I am able to pierce within my own mind|| Not... in a bad way!|| You see, when venturing into ones mind, we create our own way of what it would be like|| Sort of like inventing your own realm for your mind|| It’s where everything is stored|| Memories|| Fears|| Regrets|| Many things that we sometimes forget but I am able to venture within, find them|| I have them locked away|| Created my own realm of doors to keep them hidden for those that wish to infiltrate my head to gain leverage||

After the whole thing with Morrin Luccan, I’ve learned that I have to be more vigilant, cautious but not too overly cautious!|| And I don’t plan to lock away things that are important to me|| Those kinds of things... are things I cherish and treasure forever|| Otherwise I wouldn’t be the person I am today!||

CYLION: ⧋ I am capable to do many things. Though, I guess, one thing I am able to do is free someone of a possession or potentially see who said spirit is that is controlling their host like a puppet. I stopped caring for my own kind a long time ago with the biggest betrayal I have faced... but that doesn’t mean that sometimes spirits can crack and give some valuable information ⧋

⧋ One of the things I am able to do. Make people hallucinate or whatever the fuck cliche exists... sure. I guess I can do that, too ⧋

Um... no?|| Not that I could recall|| Also... what is with people’s fascination for my horns?|| I feel like this is the third time someone asked about my horns||

Have you ever heard of any other species harnessing magic?

I’m not quite sure|| Only species I have come across is a human|| Alexandra Pyrite|| She became... someone who was hard to approach due to her once believing that magic wasn’t real|| She’s a scientist but I try my best to get her to understand until she finally did... not in a good way...||

Still, she has told me about her planet, her people, the beliefs and religions that exist there|| Not so much different with subjuglators believing in the Messiahs|| Even told how there’s some that believe some things happen because of a higher power or signs from the great beyond|| It’s quite interesting, actually!||

She also mentioned that there are witches or people that practice witchcraft, dark magic, satanic rituals and all of that|| She thinks it’s all hog wash... her wording|| I want to believe that there are other magic users!|| Perhaps her planet isn’t fully open to the other world that is magic|| I want to think that long ago, her species practiced magic but overtime became rare and overall done in secret||

And even if supposed magic, or other weird phenomena, I think it won’t be seen clearly unless someone who is sensitive to the other world|| That and I think not enough magic has been done on her world that it isn’t able to be seen but if it happens it only occurs on a different plane||

I would like to learn more!|| Her planet, and her people, are quite interesting with how much is similar to life in Alternia|| Albeit, lots of trolls mistaken magic for psionic powers|| Even if my planet is well attuned to the magic world, it is still lost to history and part of the reason why I want to teach and educate people on the world of magic!||

What kind of magic do you practice, mostly?

I practice any kind of magic!|| I have dwelled in all kinds of magic both the helpful and dark magic that have existed over time||

Magic can be... finicky at best|| It’s not like psionics|| Magic takes time to learn and often times, depending on the magic, one has to sacrifice||

Restoration, necromancy, dark arts, all of them I have read, practiced, and come to understand|| I’m not a master|| Not even close!|| But I hope one day I will be...|| I want to make my ancestor proud|| The Exiled... well, formerly known as The Teacher taught magic|| I want to continue what she left off, start a school of magic||

Not just teaching magic but teaching them the history of it, the difference it is between psionics, why people chose to learn spells rather than just being born with some power||
