"For the adolescent Damien [Mauro], Châlons-sur-Marne was as boring as it gets," says @Cote.Magazine . Mauro combated monotony by painting colorful graffiti with friends and "feeling the adrenalin rush as they fled the pursuing cops." Moving to Avignon, Mauro spent a decade as a social worker and as he confronted "the worst life has to offer" says he found his art becoming softer and rounder. In March, 2019 Mauro, now working as GoddoG, went to Paris as the 277th participant in the unique single wall gallery of @LeMUROberkampf . Twice a month, at Rue Oberkampf and Rue Saint-Maur, The MUR (Modular, Urban, Reactive) Association invites a new artist to produce a temporary work of their choice. @_goddog_/
