Where do you think pride parades come from?

Where’s the STRAIGHT pride parade, huh???

Uh, i don’t know Carol, where is it? Why don’t you get up and make one yourself? Where do you think pride parades come from? They just materialize out of thin air? The government makes them? 

NO. Lgbtq people get out and get organized and throw themselves a party out in the open to show other lgbtq that they’re not alone. (and other reasons but that’s my favorite)

If straight people really wanted a straight pride parade, there would be a straight pride parade. Stop raining on someone else’s because you’re bitter. Throw yourself a party if you want one but stop coming to ours and whining that you want what we have.

Wow I can’t believe I missed that in their faq. I saw that the first mod thinks they could identify as ace and I guess I just skimmed the rest. Deleted and blocked, thanks for looking out for me.

Can you point me towards a source for your accusation? I’m having trouble finding anything on their blog. I am working towards an all inclusive blog so I really don’t want aphobes in my content, but I also don’t want to just kick anyone based on an anon callout.

I just wanted to address....

People who are saying the 45th president isn’t so bad, because OBAMA bombed people!!!! Saying that he’s not so bad because HILLARY would have bombed people!!!! 

But like.... Have the bombs stopped? Is the U.S.A suddenly a peaceful nation and all our troops pulled out of all the places we should not have been? No.

The 45th is not going to stop the wars we are in. He will not stop, and saying that he was the lesser of two evils in that respect is disingenuous.

I considered lots of sayings to go down at the bottom, #BlackLivesMatter, Enough is Enough. Fuck Donald Trump and All he Stands for. Etc. I decided in the end nothing specific would address all my concerns so I might as well stay vague.

Hey guys, I noticed an oversight on my blog

Since I made my theme, my header has always been We are Matter, with the tagline ‘We all Matter’ They were intended to reference how we are all made of stardust, we’re all the same down to our components. 

Buuuut, I was looking at it today and realised with the #Blacklivesmatter movement being attacked by the #Alllivesmatter movement... It made my tagline seem to side with the latter. 

It has been remedied, but I just wanted you all to know that it was not my intention to reflect anti-black views, and if I hurt you, I apologize.
