Where I'm sure there are sormik fans who are salty for stupid reasons, I know a majority of fans are upset because, according to all the canon of the game and manga, the anime is focusing a lot on the relationship between Sorey and Alisha, and where we know they're just friends, unfortunately, most fans will perceive it as romantic as opposed to platonic. It's like Hetero-baiting which, as a queer community well knows with queer-baiting, is a really shitty thing to do.

I guess I’m just salty about it, cause there was this entire episode about mostly sorey and mikleo and everything before this episode was basically sormik. In the game, Alisha practically just worshipped the ground Sorey walked on and now, the anime is showing them as actual friends and I don’t know it makes me salty because he obviously cares about Alisha and their friendship and like both sides (the sormik side and the sorali side) are just being... silly about this whole thing. I’m all for sormik. I’m gay. I ship it, but can’t people just enjoy the anime without getting into shipping wars?

Yeah, queer-baiting is a really shitty thing and I totally get it but... Alisha almost died and he can’t care about his friend?

I have no idea if someone is translating it, I mean, I know ju-da-su translates a few chapters (the ones they feel like it) and Doushi no Jikan Scans was scanlating the manga and translating the novel but they haven’t been active for over half a year now so I have no clue if they’re still active, I sent them an ask a while ago but I’ve yet to receive a response :/
