One of my biggest things to do on our bucket list was to visit the Lennon Wall in Prague. Sad to see all the original artwork was destroyed by young college students but the tradition to rebuilt the art on the wall continues. #lennonwall #lennonwallprague Oct 2014 ... loved this place Very strict back in the day and graffiti was forbidden. however John Lennon was a beacon of hope. the song "Imagine" struck home with people of Prague. One day graffiti artist drew a pic of John. The authorities painted over it. next day it appeared again. painted over it ... it came back again. in the end the authorities gave up. This wall became a symbol of freedom and Hope.
