This little one has been a true survivor up until now. I have had succulents only since spring and propagated only Echeveria purpusorum but I had success with that. I tried Lenophyllum guttatum the same way, left out the leaves but they did nothing. My mother plant is still small, so I was reluctant to pull leaves then finally decided to take bigger ones, too. And this one pushed out a 3mm rootie which I unfortunately broke while moving. Then it grew two tiny roots again which dried out (I tried to keep them moist). Today I discovered an even smaller root. The internet says you just put the leaf in soil and success. I would have preferred to wait a bit but I don’t have anything to lose, so into the soil it went. Cheer for me, it is my only roommate and at the moment not doing well. 🥀
I’m a bad plant mom. 😭
+fun fact: The mother plant is (?) about to flower but the stems have been growing for months and nothing happens. In addition, at the moment I have to rely on my mom to care for my plants.
