Lenore's ending was good, very good in fact. Even still I have mixed feelings about her death, partly because she stopped being antagonistic this season, but mostly because one of the main themes this season was choosing to have optimism and to live for a better future, something emphasized greatly in Striga and Morana, Carmilla's other "sisters", so I wish that was extended to Lenore as well to round out that pattern of character growth
