If you are not the kind of person who likes wearing circle lenses on a daily basis, maybe Halloween is a great chance to glam up your irises a bit... although, quite probably, these lenses will only scream "glamour" to you if you're a glamour zombie like me!
Because, let's be honest, these lenses are creepy. These white mesh lenses from LensFlavors are meant to cover both your irises and your pupils. They give the illusion of blindness or being infected by some crazy horror virus. I expected them to be more opaque because I was looking for the “blind” effect, but I guess that would compromise vision too much.
I can still see with these lenses unless I look directly at a light source which can blind you. With low light, you see almost as neatly as without lenses. You can see that I tried replicating how I see with (and without) these on the middle detail picture. The more light there is (and especially, if it hits you directly), the less you see and the whiter everything is. In terms of blending with the eye, these would be much more effective with light eyes as they would be more camouflaged. You can see on the third detail pic how they look from afar.
These are absolutely amazing for Halloween or costume parties - or fashion accesories if you are into Goth or similar. These are one year lenses but I think I can save them for two Halloweens (so one more month) if I take very good care of them and don't wear them a lot (and I won’t because these are strictly for costume parties).
