"Where's Kyle?" So far everyone seems to be bartering for Kyle, but this kid in the black coat isn't exactly the 'settle things with words' type.
[☺] “Places.” Leo raises an eyebrow at the question. “Y’think I’m just gonna tell ya where my whole hub’s located? Y’must be some kinda special stupid.”
It's a Stradivari violin worth 25,000 in open market. 30 with new strings. If you were a real business man and not just a petty waste of life thug you'd take the offer. I know this is some kind of bullshit revenge for something but I'm offering a big chunk of change here, certainly more than he owes. I have pics to back up my claims...just fucking end this bullshit. Let him go.
[☺] “…,” He seems to be thinking on it pretty deeply, staring at the inbox and weighing the pros and cons of such an offer. Twenty-five thousand defiantly wasn’t anything to sneeze at, and with his track record in sales, it wouldn’t be that hard to get it up to thirty without bothering with the strings… and he’d left Kyle by his lonesome for so long it was questionable whether or not his thugs had gotten the message across or had just been fooling around.
And like he’d said, he wasn’t stupid.
[☺] “…You’ll leave it in its case at Stark’s. Under the blue bench with the red graffiti. Ain’t that hard t’find. You’ll leave and wait within fifty yards – no more, no less. Once I can confirm you ain’t bullshittin’ me, I’ll let ‘im wait for you at the same bench. Then y’leave with your fuck toy n’ that’s it. I’ll count this whole event plus that violin as payment for his debt, but next time, I ain’t playin’ around with it – Kyle’ll pay off his debts on his own from now on, n’ if I find that t’not be the case…,”
Leo chuckles, cracking his knuckles. [☺] “I ain’t got no problems with showin’ him n’ even better time than t’last one. You included.”
(How are your parents?)
[☺] “Hell if I know. I don’t meet with ‘em unless I tell ‘em to. Their house is one of the smaller storage spots, so it ain’t like I gotta go over there every other day t’count inventory.”
(( since leo’s not gonna be clear enough, he doesn’t live with them – he technically owns his own house that’s pretty big (maybe like, a fourth the size of kenneth’s) but he tends to ‘live’ in his main headquarters for the most part. he kind of disowned his own parents years ago when he had the few other local rings….’disposed of’. they’re terrified of him and p much have turned into shut ins on leo’s personal orders))
"Oh you're Leo? Thought you'd be taller."
[☺] “I’d say five foot ten inches is pretty darn tall, fella.”
"Yeesh, this is awkward. Not really. I'd look at some other city, dear, Denver's my next target as well. Unless you'd like to make some sort of deal, I think that plan of yours will be coming to a crawl soon."
[☺] “I ain’t ever backed down from some competition! But of course, I do hope you realize I can’t just back down from that sorta claim – I’ve had this in the works for a good year now, and my negotiations are nearly closed n’ sealed. I wish y’good luck, though, in the spirit of friendly competition! ”
"So, how big is your business? Do you have anyone you'd consider your 'right-hand' now?"
[☺] “Suppose y’could call Malkinson the main right hand; he does the dirty work when I ain’t feelin’ like it, much like today…ain’t too bright, though. Biggle handles negotiations with our local and international suppliers – don’t speak too much Spanish myself – and Kevin handles records when he ain’t meetin’ with customers.
Not t’brag, of course, but I’ve gained most of South Park’s underground activity under my name. I’m plannin’ to branch out to Denver in the next few months, but seein’ as their police force ain’t as willing t’take handouts, it’s a bit too slow for my likin’. Won’t be much longer, I suspect. Money wise, I ain’t about t’give you specific amounts, but we’ll just say we’re in the ten digit range.”
Why don't you just kill Kyle if he can't pay off his debts? Do you have a thing for him or something?
[☺] “Well, y’wouldn’t kill off an old friend for somethin’ like money, would ya? Despite the differences we’ve had these past few years, I still consider the fella t’be one of my best customers n’ advertisers. Nobody’s been able t’match his sales since I had t’let him loose, but as a frequent buyer he still adds value to the whole operation. I ain’t soft, though. This is a tough love kinda relationship, and I’m sure Kyle understands how this rodeo’s gotta go. Heck, he’s been the one doin’ the fixin’ for folks in the past, so he ain’t no stranger to a lil’ roughin’ up for sure. He n’ I both know good n’well there’s just some kinds of people who don’t get nothin’ through their stubborn skulls without gettin’ them beat into the concrete. Kyle’s one of those people.”
