The first set of Uillean pipes I ever strap myself into are a set made by Willie Rowsome! I managed to play a scale. Willie was the father of Leo Rowsome, 'King of the Pipers'. Thanks to my friend and pipe mentor Rick Lines from Kidwelly, who took the picture and whose pipes they are. He re-reeded the drones with Elder reeds harvested from my garden.
