So I’m in the middle of exams at the moment so I haven’t been posting much but I’ve started listening to the plan for the worst audiobook and I honestly forgot how much happens in this book???? Like it’s genuinely insane. Anyway I’ll come back to talk about it a bit more when I’m less busy let me know your thoughts/ if u want me to talk about anything specific :)

Ok but can we talk about what an absolute legend Leon Farrell is because this man is like an absolute hero.

(Contains spoilers for the books and the short stories)

- gets Max’s wedding ring back before she’s even told him it’s missing

- fights off the time police like several times

- he’s as bad a rule breaker as max if not worse but no one notices because he’s quiet

- the whole Halcome thing is really funny when max sends him that email about turd tumbler and Halcome storms into the bar in a flurry of sexist fury and “sort your wife out” rage and Leon just looks at him and he doesn’t even have to do anything but he just looks at halcome and suddenly everyone remembers how scary leon is as he without saying a single word embodies “excuse me that’s my wife” energy and THEN humiliates him and he still doesn’t do anything

- Gets Max’s dad arrested by breaking several laws without batting an eye

- saves people ALL THE TIME

- forgives max even after she drives his car straight into the lake

- somehow always knows the exact right thing to do to make max feel better

- FLIRTS WITH MARY QUEEN OF SCOTS?????

- proposes in the best/ worst place ever it’s so funny

- all round husband and hero I love him <3
