Glass Shards | closed to leonardcmomccoy
Forgetfulness. A consistent inability to remember. In some cases, it was linked to a few psychological issues.
But Aelliana Moore had never been forgetful.
There was one time she had lost her memory. She had forgotten her name, her age, where she lived and who she was. It had been ongoing for a few months when she was just twelve years old. Aella had lost her mind, and rightfully so. But ever since then, whenever Aella had forgotten anything, she slipped into a slight paranoia. It was never something she consulted anyone about, never knowledge anyone was privy to.
So when the Betazoid found herself outside the sickbay doors, covered in glass shards and blood, shaking slightly, she scared herself more than she assumed she'd scare the doctors.
She looked over herself, wondering what had happened. The last thing Aella remembered was... oh. She shook her head, swaying slightly. Blood loss was making her dizzy. She assessed her wounds silently before she went in--it was mostly her hands, her forearms, and the front of her stomach, as if she had grabbed on to something glass and squeezed it until it broke. Was that a possibility?
The Betazoid stepped in through the sickbay doors, looking at herself in sort of a daze, only noticing then that she was shaking slightly and crying. She glanced up, looking around for a doctor.
