Spock paused, turning in her seat to look back at Polina, one eyebrow quirking up. “What is it, Miss Chekova? If you have a query, please, do ask," she insisted, standing up and walking over to stand next to the ensign before falling into a parade rest, “If you do not, it may distract you from your duties."

Chekova looked up at her, a bit nervously. "Ah, no, I vas just..." She cleared her throat. "You see, zhe navigator from zhe Beta sheeft..." She pulled something up on her screen and pointed. "I do not understand zhe course zhat ve have chosen to take. Eet takes us dangerously close to zhe edge of the Neutral Zone, and," She flicked the screen again. "Vouldn't eet be faster, and safer, to take zhees route instead?"

I want to do a Star Trek slash roleplay, but I don't know what I'd do.

I haven’t done any Star Trek roleplays before, but I really wanna try one, either here, another site, or through text messages. I’m open to most pairings but I’m too shy to reach out and ask anyone to roleplay with me. I’m familiar with styles from line-by-line to paragraphs, and I don’t have a preference for one. I love most pairings and I’m willing to give anything a try, but two of my favorites are McChekov and McKirk. Let me know if you’re interested! In the mean time, I’ll try to work up the courage to talk to some of my favorite blogs…

"Nice to meet you, Polina Chekova."  She gave the younger woman’s hand a firm shake.  "I’m Janie Kirk."  Then she eyed the stack of stuff.  It didn’t look safe for someone that size to be carrying that much, so Jane did what any normal person would have done.  "Uh, do you need help with all of that?  I don’t think I’ve got a class now, or if I do it’s not an important one."

"Vhat do you mean 'not important'? Vhat classes are you taking? My Mama-- er," She cut herself off, belatedly reminding herself that telling this young woman about what her mother 'always says' was unlikely to win her any favor, especially since she was hoping to come off looking maybe not quite as young as she actually was. "Are not all classes important?" she corrects herself.
