You know I always imagine Leona to be the one doing all the actual work to get together: wooing the brat, buying stuffs, giving him advice and taking him out before they're even together because he's one big softie inside.

But the other side of Ace trying to court a prince would also be fun, imagine having all the first years as his dating counselors and then the brat somehow bought Leona a bouquet of rose because Ortho searched online and said that's romantic.

Ruggie had to resist the urge to roll his eyes at that, "You're really telling me that you gifted a freshman— a freshman that doesn't even belong to Savanaclaw— a bracelet that cost more than an arm and a leg?" "Why the hell are you so pressed about it?" Leona growls in return as he looks up the second time, annoyingly that is, and stares at Ruggie like he's talking to an idiot. "It ain't got nothing to do with you."

Ruggie stands with Ace in front of the room for another minute, in complete silence, looking at the door hopefully like Leona’s gonna change his mind and personally welcome Ace into his den again. 

Leona didn’t. 

“Princess…It’s not gonna work.” Ruggie begins after a good minute of waiting, “Ya made him real mad this time, ya know.”

“I know…”

Back to the vintage sofa, he goes. 

Somehow, Ace found it in himself to hate NRC even more.

Not us.” “And you’re not helping!”
